Hi, everyone. My name is Kayla Winters. This is my third semester here at CNM. My major is biology. A few things to get to know are, My career choice is to become a veterinarian. I really enjoy the outdoors and camping. My favorite thing to do is to play any type of sport.
Now back to Chemistry, going into General Chemistry two I felt very unprepared. I am not gonna lie General Chemistry one was difficult for me. I passed the class with a c. For my first chemistry two test I did not do very well, but i definitely thought I was going to do worse. To prepare for the exam I did all of the reviews and practice problems that were assigned to us in class. I felt like I understood it, but when it came to the actual exam I was lost and confused. My mind just went completely blank and I forgot the most crucial steps. On the bright side as you guys know we were able to do un-grading which really boosted my grade and almost put me to a seventy percent. Not only did it boost my grade but i also was able to go over the questions and make sure I could fully understand the formulas and steps needed for each problem.
Now I know that it is very important to go over the videos provided as well as the practice exams and problems provided. One thing that didn’t help for the exam is that I did not have a very good note-card and didn’t fill it out completely. I was not very prepared for my first exam, and I still have trouble with chemistry because I didn’t do well in general chemistry one, which was my fault because I made the horrible decision of taking my chemistry class online.
