Hi, Everyone. Update we are Finally done. I took my final on Wednesday. To prepare for my exam I went over and watched many videos. I went over and reviewed all exams as well as the ungrading that was passed back for each exam. I also reviewed all practice exams and any worksheets that we were given in class. The last thing I went over was the final exam study guide.
Going into the final I wasn’t sure how confident I was because there was a lot to study and many different problems to know how to solve. I created a good note card with everything I had on all my note cards from previous exams and more information. One thing that worried me for the final is the amount of time we had to complete the final I definitely had to rush or felt rushed because I didn’t want to take too much time on one question.
During the exam I still had a pretty good amount of trouble getting spot on answers most of my numbers were close but not exact so I am not sure if I got those questions correct. I am worried that i did not do well on the exam and that I used the wrong formulas or I miscalculated. I felt rushed and its possible i didn’t do well on the exam. I do have a filling that I didn’t do well and that I am going to have to retake the class.
Overall from the beginning of the semester to the end I did not improve much, but I do feel like I learned a lot. I just need more help on a few things in order for me to build on to similar and more complicated problems. For the next time i take this class when i retake I need to go back and review more of chemistry one and then build on from there. I do need a little more help on some material but not too much, I think I mix up formulas and which to use for each problem. I did really enjoy this class, but it still was difficult for me and I need to figure out better ways of learning so I can fully understand the material and think I am going to have to take a couple steps back first.
